First · the threshold
The stone antechamber every newcomer crosses before the world will admit them. Quiet, warm, and short. You learn to move, to speak, and to answer the guardian. Beside the corridor stand two old stones — the Runestone Table and the Legend Stone.
Then · the first city
Beyond the gate the walls give way and the city receives newcomers at its centre. Sky Spires above, Archive Vaults below, a Market District at street level, and open plots waiting for the players who will give a hall its guild and a plot its name.
